Catalan Sea (Southern) - Data Sources

Biological data used in this study mainly belongs to the Institute of Marine Science located in Barcelona, Spain (ICM-CSIC, see data sources below) from bottom trawling, acoustic surveys and plankton sampling. Biological and ecological data has also been found in the scientific literature available (see further reading). Landings data has been obtained from the Catalan Government and ICM. Information on exploitation status of commercial species has been obtained from FAO databases, ICM-CSIC, Greenpeace and WWF.
