English Channel (Eastern) - Data Sources

Ecosystem and species description come from the Channel Habitat Atlas for marine Resource Management, funded by an Interreg 3a program (http://www.ifremer.fr/charm)
Data used for the computation of indicators are from the Channel Ground Fish Survey (CGFS), organised each year in the eastern English Channel by IFREMER since 1988. Sampling occurs during 1 month (October) on the vessel "Gwen Drez", using a GOV trawl (large vertical opening). Data used for computation of trophic indicators are from an early version of an Ecopath application (Carpentier et al. 2009).
